Friday, July 30: The Jolly Zuks will perform at the Art in the Park event. Food served by Our Redeemer Youth will be roast beef sandwich! Food begins at 6:00 and music begins at 6:30.
Saturday, July 31: A “Cruise to the Dub” Classic Car Show featuring 50s and 60s music, classic cars and All American food will take place at the Pine City A&W from 11am – 4pm.
Saturday, July 31: Pine Center for the Arts celebrates their one year anniversary from 2PM – 6PM at the Center and in Robinson Park. Check out the cake decorating contest, Kids Korner, used book sale and more!
Saturday, July 31: Check out the Farmer’s Market from 11am – 1pm and meet Author Gayla Marty who will be doing a book signing for her new book, “Memory of Trees: A Daughter’s Story of a Family Farm”. Robinson Park
Saturday, July 31: Former PCHS graduates return with their local band “A Moment Without” to play at Froggy’s Bar & Grill beginning at 9PM. Read more on this special performance at the Pine City Pioneer website.
Saturday, July 31: Marks the one year anniversary of the day that Shane Bauer, Sarah Shourd and Josh Fattal were arrested by Iranian authorities while hiking in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq. There are rallies and vigils planned across the nation for this anniversary including a rally in St. Paul. Visit the website at http://freethehikers.org/ for more details.
Sunday, August 1: Stoffel Family Museum will be open for visitors from Noon to 4PM. The museum is housed in a refurbished 1900s log barn and features family collectibles, pictures, historical documents & household and farming paraphernalia from the early 20th century. The admission to the museum is FREE!
Tuesday, August 3: National Night Out….Pine City Style! It’s not too late to register your event for NNO, by E-mailing email@example.com. Only those events registered will be eligible to receive doorprizes, visits by Mayor Jane Robbins & possible visits by a Pine County Sherrif’s Deputy.
Wednesday, August 4: The monthly dance at the American Legion will be held from 1-4pm with music by Jerry Bierschbach.
