Announcing a FREE workshop for all members of a committee, no matter which one. Improve the performance of your committee!
Jun. 22, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the Pine City Community Room, at City Hall.
This workshop was developed by the University of Minnesota, Leadership and Civic Engagement. Seven common traps of committees are identified, along with practical methods to address them. Participants will gain tips on how to design effective meetings, How to focus on purpose and results, tackling problem meeting behaviors, managing conflict, recruiting members with diverse perspectives, and facilitation techniques that encourage discussion.
